Berlin Zoo Great Animals White Wolves of Canada

MORE WOLF PICTURES FROM INTERNET

Once upon a time when populations of animals roamed the earth with plenty space and food not built up areas, there were wolves everywhere. They howled and ate sheep of the farmers. So the most friendly wolves were selected to breed dogs to BARK as wolves do not bark only cough and howl to scare the timid wolves away. The ancestor of all wolves was a catlike animal, and cats are the most effective hunters, they are sleek, agile and cunning,  wolves only manage 1 in 10 of their hunts usually in packs needing teamwork. They did not eat every day and ate certainly plants also. The wolf is a very timid animal and runs rather than attacks if possible.

The ancestors of  BLACK FAIRY and FALCON names DUC and PETITE Groenendaels sheepdogs in the 19th century died not from wolf attacks but HUMAN GUNS of poachers. The animal the most dangerous due to his FEAR mostly is therefore mankind. One destroys what one fears.

Ancestors of dogs and cats include hyennas, foxes, wolves cats...

this is a catlike prehistoric animal that hunted mice rodernts under and above ground.

The WILD CATS are greatly extinct also today

The DNA Evolutionary  split between Wolves and dogs took place about 100 000 years ago.

Differences include female heats of dogs 2 times a year versus 1 per year for wolves,  dogs barking, less fearful, floppy ears colour changes eyes of dogs not yellow and less grey coats, smaller more crowded teeth, far less powerful jaws, shorter leges, smaller brains skulls and forehead 'stops'  Certain wolf-like behaviors, such as the regurgitation of partially digested food for the young, have also disappeared etc

The oldest groups of dogs, which show the greatest genetic variability and are the most similar to their wolf ancestors, are primarily Asian and African breeds

12 000 years ago husky type dogs pulled sledges for humans.

The genetic divesity of wolves has declined over the past 200 years.

Most BREEDS of DOGS are at most a few HUNDRED years old.

About 15 million dogs per year are eaten by humans as food of about a total population of 400 million dogs worldwide.

Of approx. 400 millions dogs worldwide, 70 million are pets in the USA. 65 percent of owners get their pets at Zero or low cost.

6 million pets per year  in USA end up in animal rescue shelters of which 4 million per year are euthanised (60 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats) 25 percent are purebreds.

France has the highest number of  abandoned dogs and cats in Europe 60 to 100  thousand per year.

World Population of Wild Woves is 200 000 approximately in 2011. Approximately 200 in France. Mostly erradicated in Western Europe

Average lifespan 8 years, however only 1 of the litter usually survive to adulthood. Close familly unit supported and trained by all the pack of approximately 8 wolves the young leave the pack at approximately 2 years old to create new packs. This was in the past when movement was easy, today the world has changed for wolves as all living creatures.

OUT OF THE DARK ! and INTO THE LIGHT ! sortir du noir vers la lumiere ! en tout, in everything...mein Leitmotif...

Shaun Ellis, "Un Homme Parmi les Loups" révèle  expériences de notre temps d'un homme qui a vécu avec eux.  A man of our time who lived with wolves..Shaun Ellis.

Domestic dogs...are NOT wolves. They are at best a descendant of a now EXTINCT wolf. WOLVES NEVER BARK...our dogs ? NON STOP lol ! Wolves only HOWL and non one knows why...except the wolves...that are for the most part extinct now too. Very few remain now.

WOLVES never BARK...unlike our domestic dogs who do NON STOP  often lol...this is a HUGE difference in communication and behaviour ! there are many  more differences...TEETH are more cramped in dogs than wolves...their digestion systems are very different regarding starches...wolves MATURE FAST...unlike DOGS who remain PUPPYLIKE and PLAY greatly...many WOLVES come on HEAT only ONCE per year...dogs twice...etc etc a WOLF CHOOSES ITS MATE...and DOGS DO NOT ! the concept o only ALPHA WOLVES MATING is NOT what DOGS do.

NOBODY knows WHY wolves HOWL. Only the WOLVES know that. We just guess and pretend we know.

DOG DANCING ! DANCES WITH WOLVES ! AU NATUREL ! i think this was a couple preparing to mate ! ? anyway, en tout cas SHARE from ZORAN WORLD CHAMPION GROENENDAEL BLACK WOLF of  ITALY TOSCANA !  DANCES WITH WOLVES !  ZORAN-G DI CASA BELLEGARDE ...his FAIRYTALE is here ! CONTE DE FEE ZORAN ICI !
